Holiday Craziness!

The holidays have come and gone... thank goodness! I only say this because we were soo busy it was ridculous! The week of Christmas we had a party every night, it was fun to see all the family, but it wore us out! I guess that is what happens when you have 3 families though. :)

Christmas morning was so much fun with Zoie! She woke up at 5am and was in such a good mood we decided to get up and see what Santa brought instead of giving her milk and her going back to sleep like usual. Ben went out first and set up the video camera, then Zoie and I came out. She went straight to her baby in the stroller and was so excited about it, she played and talked for almost 10 minutes, it was so cute! We stayed up for about an hour and then we all went back to bed until about 9:30.

We then had to get ready to go to Ben's parents for brunch, which is always good! After we ate we opened presents. Ben and I got bike shoes and pedals for our bikes. We also got the cutest digital scrapbook of Zoie's first year, I was so surprised when we opened it, I was teary eyed because it was such a precious book :) Zoie got new outfits, which she loves clothes! She also got books and a ball popper from her uncles.

After that we headed to my mom and Steve's house where they had more presents for us and Zoie... we were there on Christmas Eve for our traditional dinner and gift opening so we were surprised to get more from them. They gave Zoie a really cute purse and a piano that she loves! She turns it on and dances to the music :)

We then went to my dad and Molly's for dinner, which was great! They spoiled Zoie as well! They gave her clothes, a really cute train set, and a leap frog dog that you can program into the computer. My brother Tim and his wife gave her a cute sit and ride or push thing that is really cute. From my brother Derek she got a tricycle that she loves, and will love even more when its summer and she can ride it outside.

For New Year's we went to our friends, Nick and Sheree's to hang out. It was a lot of fun, we played Rock Band, which Zoie loved watching and dancing to! Our friends Kile and Jess were there with their baby Austin, who Zoie loves playing with. Then one of Sheree's friends came over with their little girl. her and Zoie played and played they had so much fun! Zoie was so good, she even made it until midnight, it was so funny we switched from the game we were playing over to see the ball drop. Right after it dropped Zoie found her coat and the diaper bag, started waving bye-bye and took the stuff to the door then started hanging on the doorknob, like it's time to go! She was exhausted and slept until like 1030 the next morning!

Overall, we had a good holiday season, it was just really busy!
